Saturday Training…Might Have Skipped Last Sunday

Training over the past few weeks did not quite happy due to a slight injury that I wanted to let fully recover.

Was happy to get out today and enjoy the weather whilst it’s still not too cold, but it’s certainly starting to feel chilly.

Clearly the thanksgiving festivities over the past few days and my lack of training hasn’t helped my time very much, losing just over a minute but I did do a slightly harder course this time around.

Thanks Giving Celebrations – training food?

On the last run I did 10km in 53 minutes and 4 seconds, but this time given the slightly more hilly course I dropped almost 1 minute to do 54 minutes 11 seconds.

The northern most part of central park is definitely something I need to train more with, and plan to attempt doing the NYRR Joe Kleinerman 10K route at least once before the actual day.

Will be doing some weight training tomorrow and look to do an indoor run on Wednesday night before heading to Boston for a few days.

Hopefully I’ll be able get another run in next Saturday before heading to Jacksonville for the week.
